How does one identify the MPO Polarity and check for a MPO Fiber fault location using the MPO Polarity tester?

The MPO Polarity Tester is a 2-in-1 tool that combines both the MPO tester and MPO Polarity Identifier. The MPO Polarity Tester quickly identifies the type (A / B / C) of a 12-channel MPO cable ; it can also identify the type (SA / SB / SC) of a 8-channel MPO cable. The MPO Polarity Tester offers three (3) modes of operation - Flash, CW (Continuous Wave) and Scan.


The MPO Polarity Tester is used to quickly check the defects of a MPO arrayed fiber cable and/or MPO Connector. The MPO Tester emits a visible 650nm wavelength red laser light through the optical fiber cables; if there are breaks or defects in any given fiber the light will be refracted, thus creating a bright glow around the faulty area. The monitor will then display which channel is broken.

How does one check a MPO Fiber fault location using the MPO tester?

The MPO Polarity Tester is used to check defects of a MPO arrayed fiber cable and/or MPO Connector.
